Findmypast adds further England and Wales Crime records

It's a mystery. Of the 5,762,300 records in the England & Wales, Crime, Prisons & Punishment, 1770-1935 database which are the 68,000 new ones? FMP could and should do a better job of informing exactly what is added to save paying clients doing needless searches.

I completely agree. I don't currently have a subscription but keep an eye on what's new and can't afford to gamble that these new records might give me more clues. THe info given re these new releases is a bit misleading because it implies the whole collections are new and some of them are just additions.

I have the same frustrations with the regular FreeBMD updates.
